A very flamboyant, coral wedding cake…I like the color though, even if it is a tad bright. The pictures don’t show it, but the whole cake is luster-dusted as well, so it sparkles quite a bit.

An angel I made for a baby shower cake. I made it a few days in advance, so I unfortunately didn’t get to see the finished product. It’s made entirely out of fondant.

“Wishing you every hap-penis” This one made me giggle. I made the “lemons” and the banana peel.

A Key West themed birthday cake. I liked this one a lot. I love detail, and making all of these, especially that conch, was fun. All pieces are fondant hand painted with food coloring.

This is the same cake as the last post…Just…re-formed. Apparently, there was an issue on the invoice, and the bride hated fondant. So I had to go back to work, strip the cake completely, cover it in buttercream, and re-decorate it. To say that I was pissed is a grand understatement. But it looked nice, so I was happy in the end.

This was a very large wedding cake that I decorated a few months ago. It took most of the day and I was very proud of the finished product. The piping in particular took me quite a while. Not even an hour after I left the bakery I got a call…They needed me to come back and redo the cake…

An elegant wedding cake done in white and gold. I did the piping and made the white chocolate coral featured around the cake.

A simple birthday cake. The flowers are made out of fondant.

Naughty wedding cake…Don’t ask me why. I just do what I’m told. I made the…figurines. It was a funny day.

This is the first large cake that I did on my own. It’s half fraisier, or strawberry cake, and half chocolate Grand Marnier cake. It was a pain in the ass to get clean, but it worked out alright in the end.
